Kyrgyzstan to host the first Asian Chess Championship among people with disabilities

Bishkek, Jan. 12 / Kabar /. The first ever Asian Chess Championship among people with disabilities will be held in Kyrgyzstan, V Sport Agency reports.

The decision to hold this championship was taken in September 2016 at the forum of the Asian Chess Federation.

"The Chess Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic successfully presented its project and won the right to host this championship. The tournament will be held in May and June," agency reported.

The people with disabilities can participate in the Asian Championship.

"The exact number of categories will be determined on the basis of applications received. Basically competitions are among the deaf, blind, and among people with common disabilities," says in the report.
