Cuban President offers condolences after Kyrgyzstan plane crash

 Bishkek, Jan 21. /Kabar/.  Cuban President, Raul Castro, has offered his condolences to his Kyrgyz peer, Almazbek Atambayev, for those killed in a plane crash near the capital, Prensa Latina reports. 

We have heard of the plane crash occurred in the vicinity of Bishkek, in which human lives were lost. I send you heartfelt condolences, which I extend to the relatives of the victims, the message says.

A Boeing 747 freighter belonging to the Turkish ACT Airlines crashed just one and a half kilometer before reaching the international airport of Manas, over a town where 32 homes were destroyed. The death toll was 37.

The plane was traveling from Hong Kong to Istanbul, with stopover in this capital and only five crew members on board, all dead in the accident occurred on Monday, January 16th, amid difficult weather conditions.
