 Poems of Indian poets in Kyrgyz presented in Bishkek

Bishkek, Jan. 20 / Kabar /. Presentation of the book (poems of Indian poets) entitled Colours of Life is held at the National Library in Bishkek.

The event is organized by the Indian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The concept of edition was developed by Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Zhayant Khobragade. The poems were translated into Kyrgyz by Kubanychbek Basylbekov, Altynai Temirova, Baktygul Choturova, Melsulin Chatyrkulov. The illustrations in the book are made by young, talented artist Alia Shagieva and Zhayant Khobragade.

The book presents poems of famous poets of India, since ancient times to the modern representatives of Hindi literature.

The Indian Training Center has been operating at the National Library since 2014. The Indian center aims to inform the Kyrgyz public with India's achievements in various fields, its spiritual heritage, a rich scientific and cultural potential.

The presentation of the book was attended by famous poets, writers, workers of culture, science and education spheres, the media, students, readers of the library.
