Servicemen of the Russian air base hold a moment of silence in memory of victims of the plane crash

Bishkek, Jan. 17 / Kabar /. Servicemen of the Russian air base hold a moment of silence in memory of victims of the Boeing 747-400 cargo plane crash near Manas international airport and expressed sympathy to all relatives and friends of the victims of a terrible catastrophe. Flags of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the CSTO and the Air Force are lowered at the base, News-Asia reports.

In the church of Alexander Nevsky, located on the territory of the base, a memorial service was held for those killed in the crash. Military personnel and their families collect humanitarian assistance to relatives of those killed and injured.

Command of the airbase expresses condolences to the relatives of the victims and all the Kyrgyz people and expresses confidence that the investigation into the cause of the crash will be carried out in a timely manner, and conclusions drawn from it will avoid further repetition of such terrible events.

The cargo plane Boeing 747 of Turkish ACT airlines crashed on Monday at 7.18 am in the village of Dacha-Suu in Chui oblast of Kyrgyzstan destroying more than 20 houses and killing 37 people residents of the village and crew members. The plane was flying from Hong Kong to Istanbul and was to refuel in Bishkek.
