 Kyrgyzstan mourns over victims of the plane crash

Bishkek, Jan. 17 / Kabar /. Today is the day of mourning in Kyrgyzstan for those killed in the plane crash near Bishkek.

The cargo plane Boeing 747 of Turkish ACT airlines crashed on Monday at 7.18 am in the village of Dacha-Suu in Chui oblast of Kyrgyzstan destroying more than 20 houses and killing 37 people residents of the village and crew members.

On January 16 President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree "On the declaration of January 17, 2017 a day of mourning in the Kyrgyz Republic for the victims of the crash of cargo plane Boeing 747".

He ordered to fly a national flag at half throughout the territory of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on buildings of diplomatic and consular missions abroad.

Besides, according to the decree, cultural institutions and TV/Radio channels of Kyrgyzstan recommended to cancel entertainment events.
