Vice Prime Minister Pankratov takes part in the OECD Eurasia week in Paris

 Bishkek, November 29 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov participated in the final review of the implementation of reforms aimed at improving the competitiveness of the Kyrgyz Republic. Debate and discussion of the achieved results was held yesterday in Paris (France) in the framework of the Eurasian week program Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to improve the competitiveness of the countries of Eurasia.

The results of ongoing reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses were discussed there.

Oleg Pankratov said that the reforms related to three priority directions of economic policy that have been selected in cooperation with the OECD in 2013.

"We are talking about access to finance for SMEs, human capital development, attracting investments and export support. Special attention was paid to the support of domestic business in the conditions of accession of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union and obtaining GSP + status, which gives substantial preferences in trade with the EU member states," he said.

At the end of his speech Pankratov confirmed the readiness and commitment of the Kyrgyz Republic to co-preside in the framework of the OECD program to improve the competitiveness of the countries of Eurasia.
