India plans to open an Indian Cultural Centre in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 25 / Kabar /. India plans to open an Indian Cultural Centre in Bishkek. Consul of the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan Bhargav Mitra said at a meeting in Bishkek with Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Rayev.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, during the meeting they discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.

In particular, about opening direct flight between Kyrgyzstan and India, the establishing a visa-free regime. The sides also exchanged experience on development of the tourism industry by means of participation of tour operators and tour associations in various information tours and travel fairs held in the territories of the two countries, which in turn can have a positive impact on increasing the flow of tourists from India to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, the consul wished to jointly develop and sign a memorandum on cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism, and the intention of the Indian side to open the Indian Cultural Centre in Bishkek. In turn, S.Raev expressed interest in the development of bilateral relations and harmony within the competence of the Ministry to assist in resolving the issue of establishing a visa-free regime.
