Roza Otunbaeva to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011

Islamic Human Rights Commission in Central Asia offers to nominate Roza Otunbaeva for the Nobel Peace Prize. Reportedly, the Commission and Muslims Union of Kazakhstan called the president for the transitional period of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbaeva the best statesperson of 2010. “The uniqueness of the Kyrgyz case is that for the first time in Central Asia we are watching the attempt to build democratic state free of despotism and the cult of personality,” initiators note. “Kyrgyzstan is a hope of Central Asia and success or failure of the Kyrgyz experiment will foreordain the further character of political processes in the region,” they believe in the Islamic Human Rights Commission in Central Asia. The Commission intends to nominate Roza Otunbaeva for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011. The Commission requests politicians and public figures of Kazakhstan to support this suggestion.
