USAID Quality Learning Project ‘Sapattuu Bilim’ Presents an Exposition of Education Materials

 

On Tuesday, November 2 at 10:00 am the USAID Quality Learning Project ‘Sapattuu Bilim,’ funded by the United States government, is holding an exposition of its work to date showcasing the products and materials that have been developed in partnership with the educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan during the last two years. This event will be held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2nd Floor Conference Hall, Tynystanov Street 257 in Bishkek.

Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, Kyrgyz Academy of Education (KAE), USAID, university instructors, school administration, international organizations and other interested individuals will take part in the event.

The exposition will include training materials created for the state curriculum of teacher in-service training in Mathematics, Kyrgyz Language and Literature, and for Primary School education. Also presented, products developed to help teachers and administrators navigate Kyrgyzstan’s education finance reform and incorporate the changes into their school budgets more effectively in order to provide a greater calibre of education, especially in secondary schools.

Since 2008, the USAID project ‘Sapattuu Bilim’ has been working closely with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Finance, the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, regional in-service teacher training institutes and Methodological Centers, and Arabaev Kyrgyz State University to develop an array of materials that will help teachers, school administrators and education system officials improve the quality of education in Kyrgyzstan.

This program is one of many assistance projects supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
