Kyrgyz actors played leading roles in “Kerogly” opera in Turkey

KABAR, July 27.Minister of Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan Sadyk Sher-Niyaz at the invitation of the International Organization Turksoi participated in the premiere of “Kerogly”  opera, which was held in  Turkey in Istanbul.
“Kerogly” opera staged on the basis of the “Ker-Ogly” epic of Azerbaijani people with the participation of artists from six countries. Minister of Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan Sadyk Sher-Niyaz told at a press conference at the Kabar Agency. “Kerogly” opera is a treasure of Turkic-speaking people and cultural heritage, which brings together many peoples and nations.
Sadyk Sher-Niyaz said that the International Organization Turksoi, has been working closely with the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan since 1993.
During the working visit, the Kyrgyz Minister met with Ministers of Culture of Turkey and Azerbaijan and discussed joint projects between Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Azerbaijan. The Minister of Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan have been resolved issues of membership fees of Kyrgyzstan to Turksoi.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey intends to render support further to the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan in realization of cultural projects and to assist in developing a culture of Kyrgyzstan.
