Exhibition of fine arts of Iranian women open in Bishkek

Bishkek, February 9 / Kabar /. An exhibition of fine arts of Iranian women and photo exhibition devoted to achievements of Iranian women in contemporary Iran has opened today in Museum of Fine Arts.

According to the organizers, today women in the Islamic Republic of Iran, are actively represented in virtually all areas: politics, economy, education, science, medicine, sport, and especially, culture and art, etc.

The first exhibition presents about 50 works in different directions: Iranian miniature, painting and wood carving. Master classes will be held within the framework of the exhibition with the participation of Iranian masters Parwan Miraftabiyan and Parisa Rahmani, specially invited for this occasion in Kyrgyzstan.

Parisa Rahmani - contemporary Iranian miniaturist painter, was born in Tehran in 1971, since 1984 works in different directions: paint, oil, watercolors, blackening, pastel, etc. She is an active participant and a multiple winner of domestic and international arts festivals.

Parwan-Sadat Miraftabiyan was born in 1982 in Tehran. She received primary education in the specialty "architecture", a bachelor's degree in "Interior Design". Since 2000, she studied wood carving, works in the techniques of carving, three-dimensional figures of wood openwork carving. She is the author of more than 90 works on wood. Parwan participated in numerous Iranian and international exhibitions, including Turkey, Dubai, Armenia (2009). The author also works in such areas as the patina, painting and design, glass painting, wooden tiles, manufacture of jewelry.

A photo exhibition devoted to the achievements of Iranian women and modern Iran will be open on February 13.
