Museum of Fine Arts presents drawings of children with autism

Bishkek, January 24 / Kabar /. The exhibition-fair of children's works: "Share your smile" has opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek.

The exhibition features works of children with autism, which can be bought for charitable purposes.

At the opening of the exhibition-fair the children from dance group "Maria" performed several dances.

According to director of the Institute of behavioral analysis of Clemson University in South Korolina (US) William Harrison Edwards, the uniqueness of the exhibition is that drawings of children with autism are presented and normal children are ready to help their peers.

"Many children do not speak aloud, so they express their thoughts and feelings by paints. In their works children depicted pieces of their lives, their dreams and observations about the world. Children's works are attracted by brightness, simplicity and a flight of fancy. Unfortunately, children do not choose autism and that’s autism chooses them," he said.

All money collected from the sale of paintings will be donated to a fund to help children with autism.

The exhibition will run till February 4.
