Centre of Indian Culture to be open at the National Library

Bishkek, November 14 / Kabar /. Ceremony of opening of the Centre of Indian Culture is held today at the National Library of Kyrgyzstan.

The opening of the center is the result of development of relations between the National Library of the KR and the Embassy of India in the KR. The Embassy rendered aid in repairing premises of the center and equipping with the necessary equipment, appliances, audio-visual materials, and literature.

Centre for Indian Culture will provide visitors with information about the Indian culture, literature, and in general will be engaged in the popularization of knowledge about India through books, periodicals, documentaries, audio-visual materials in Hindi, Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages. The center will also provide services for those wishing to learn the official language of India, Hindi and English.
