Issyk- Kul apples are exported to Russia and Kazakhstan, as Bishkek residents prefer Chinese apples

Issyk-Kul, April 18 / Kabar /. Issyk- Kul apples are exported to Russia and Kazakhstan, as Bishkek residents prefer more Chinese apples. Head of the Issyk-Kul regional administration Raimbek Imangaziev says.

According to his data, 30 % from the total volume of apples grown in Issyk-Kul are exported to Russia, 30% to Kazakhstan. The remaining 40 % to Chui oblast of Kyrgyzstan. "We would be happy if the entire amount remained in Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek but people prefer apples imported from China. Now people pay more attention to the appearance and beauty, while forgetting about the quality and naturalness of domestic products," said Imangaziev.
