ADB allocates $ 30 mln for sustainable development of Issyk-Kul

Bishkek, August 14 / Kabar /. The Asian Development Bank allocates $30 million for sustainable development of Issyk-Kul. Member of the working group on monitoring of external loans Kamil Ruziyev said today during a roundtable "The interim results of monitoring of the ADB project "Sustainable Development of Issyk-Kul".

He said $ 15 million will be provided as a loan and $ 15 million - the grant. "$ 7.5 million allocated by the government for the project, which was signed in 2009.

He said that under the agreement the completion of the project is scheduled for December 31, 2013. The project "Sustainable Development of Issyk-Kul" is aimed at improving the health of the population and environmental conservation by improving the level of various urban services, including sewerage, sanitation, waste disposal and water supply in three towns of Issyk-Kul oblast.
