Prime Minister Zheenbekov takes part in opening ceremony of two secondary schools in remote areas of Osh oblast

 Bishkek, December 6 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenbekov during his trip to Osh oblast took part in the opening ceremony of the school namedafter Alimseitov in the village of Sary-Mogol, Alay region, the Kyrgyz government’s press office reports.

The Prime Minister, on behalf of the country's President Almazbek Atambayev and on behalf of himself congratulated the teaching staff, students and parents with the opening of a new school in a remote region of the country.

The school is located in the village of Sary-Mogol, which is located 140 km from the regional center at an altitude of 3100 meters above sea level.

In his speech Zheenbekov said that government pays close attention to development of mountainous regions of the country and will continue to work in this direction in the future.

"It is necessary to ensure that local people could live and work in favorable conditions. Our task is to solve socio-economic problems in the field and provide everything needed for a normal life of people, in particular to build social facilities and schools. Support for education sphere is a sure path that will lead to the development of the country," he stressed.

The Prime Minister said that the past the national budget will be socially oriented. More than 50% of the budget funds will be spent on education, health and social protection.

Zheenbekov expressed confidence that the school will graduate educated, intelligent young generation to be worthy citizens of their country.

Then the Prime Minister attended the opening ceremony of a secondary school in the village of Kara-Teyit in Chon-Alai region, which is located in a remote area.

Addressing the pupils, the Prime Minister wished them to be meticulous about receiving knowledge, in order to contribute in future to the development of the country.

Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Turdubek Mambetov said that, 80 new schools will be put into operation in 2016, in Osh oblast construction of 28 schools will be completed this year.
