Prime Minister Temir Sariev met with protesters in Aksy region

Bishkek, March 22 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev met with protesters in Aksy region of Jalal-Abad oblast, the Kyrgyz Government’s press office reports.

One of the organizers of the protest meeting Azimbek Beknazarov suggested to address such international organizations as the CSTO and the UN on the situation on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.

In turn, Temir Sariev noted that currently negotiations on the resolution of the situation in the border areas of the two countries are at the highest level.

"Since the beginning of the conflict situation on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, the corresponding work is conducting in the foreign policy level. Kyrgyzstan has already appealed the CSTO, consultations are underway," he said.

During the meeting, Sariev answered questions of protesters, calling on to avoid provocations that could lead to the destabilization socio-political situation in the country.
