A monument to 115 participants in the Second World War open in Tosor village

Bishkek, May 8 / Kabar /. Opening of the monument to 115 participants of the Great Patriotic War, who went to the battle field and did not return to their homeland has been held today Tosor village, Jeti-Oguz region, Issyk-Kul oblast. The press service of Zamandash association reports.

Besides, opening of a bust of hero of the Great Patriotic War Mukash Salakunov is held.

A street in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk is named after our countryman Mukash Salakunov. His Komsomol card pierced by shrapnel has been keeping in the Museum of the liberation of Dnepropetrovsk. A secondary school № 52 in Dnepropetrovsk is also named after our compatriot. It is encouraging that the feat of a young Kyrgyz man, who died heroically defending the homeland, immortalized in the memory of the Ukrainian people, the association says.

The event was attended by villagers, representatives of local authorities.
