48 people from Kara-Suu had gone to fight in Syria and Afghanistan

 Bishkek, December 5 / Kabar /. 48 people from Kara-Suu region of Osh oblast had gone to fight in Syria and Afghanistan.

According to the press service of the Osh police department, this data was cited during the meeting, held in Osh on December 4 on the topic "Implementation of state policy in the sphere of religion."

Head of the Kara-Suu regional police department Arslanbek Adanov says that, to date, 175 people of the region are registered as members of extremist groups. They are members of religious sects "Hizb ut-Tahrir", "Wahhabism", "Ahmadiyah", "Salafism". As a result of operational measures by law enforcement agencies it was revealed that 48 citizens left to take part in armed conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan, he said.
