Training to promote ethnic equality and civic participation of young people continues in Batken

Bishkek, October 26 / Kabar /. Interactive training of creative youth on “Promotion of ethnic equality and civic participation” project PEACE has been continuing in Batken. 

Within the framework of the project an open competition was organized among creative young people who have been divided into five groups on comedy club, video clip, dance, media and graffiti. 

Interactive workshops are aimed at strengthening teamwork and planning of further activities to promote peace and intercultural dialogue among young people, NGO "Youth of Osh" reports. 

The project has been implementing in five cities in Kyrgyzstan: Osh, Batken, Tokmak, Jalalabad, Bishkek to promote ethnic equality and civic participation of young people. 

The project involves young people aged 16 to 25, who are interested or promote certain kind of culture in their school, city, district, university, and who want to contribute to the development of the country.

The project is implemented by DVV INTERNATIONAL in the Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with the NGO «Youth of Osh» and NGO "Institute for Youth Development" with the financial support of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic.
