Pilot projects on development of women's entrepreneurship launched in regions of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, October 8 / Kabar /. On 6 - 9 October a pilot project on "Women's Entrepreneurship Development in Kyrgyzstan" held in Osh, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.

Trainers from Bishkek, approved by the Ministry, conduct training sessions on financial literacy, business planning, leadership and communication skills. Expert on doing business Latif Gina will share international experience with entrepreneurs. 

Similar projects will take place in other regions of Kyrgyzstan from 13 to 15 October in Naryn, from 15 to 17 October in Karakol. 

Women Entrepreneurship Development in the Kyrgyz Republic project aims at sustainable business development of women entrepreneurs in regions, which involves improving the living standards of the local population, as well as sustainable economic development and stability in regions as a whole.

The project is implemented with grant funds of the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, which is administered by the Asian Development Bank. Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is the executing agency of the project. The training will be conducted by the School of Professional and Continuing Education UCA.
