Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and delegation of Turkic - American Alliance discussed trade and economic cooperation

Bishkek, January 23 / Kabar /. Economy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev met with an official delegation of Turkic - American Alliance, where the issues of trade and economic cooperation were discussed.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the KR, the delegation included President of Turkic - American alliance Faruk Taban and president of the Turkish- American Federation of Midwest USA Suleiman Turhan.

During the meeting, Minister of Economy informed about the importance of the meeting, the development of bilateral relations.

From his part Mr. Taban informed about the upcoming joint project on conducting the Second Annual Kyrgyz- American Forum with the participation of Congressmen, governors and other representatives of the United States, which is expected to be held in April in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, he noted that the first annual business forum was held on 20 November last year in the United States with the support of Turkic - American Alliance, Turkic - American Federation of Midwest and West US- Turkic Council, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan.

The forum was attended by about 250 guests, including 15 representatives from the U.S., one of the U.S. senators, three ambassadors and representatives of various federal U.S. government agencies.

Sariev stressed that such forums contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, to strengthen ties between the peoples and supported the initiative of conducting the Second Annual Kyrgyz- American Forum.

The sides also discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation.
