Thailand interested in the development and deepening of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 18 / Kabar /. Within the framework of participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the 15th Ministerial Meeting Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev met with his Thailand counterpart Don Pramudvinay, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

During the meeting Don Pramudvinay on behalf of the Government of Thailand expressed his deep condolences to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan in connection with the tragedy in the village Dacha-Suu, which caused great losses.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral relations. The Thai side noted the interest in the development and deepening of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was agreed to begin consultations on practical areas of cooperation, including through the exchange of expert groups in order to identify the highest priority areas. The sides exchanged views on strengthening interaction and mutual promotion of initiatives in the framework of international and regional organizations.

Abdyldaev invited Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Pramudvinay to visit Kyrgyzstan, the report says.
