FMs of Kyrgyzstan and UAE sign memorandum on mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports

 Bishkek, Jan. 18 / Kabar /. On January 17, 2017 during the official visit to the United Arab Emirates Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

During the meeting the foreign ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral Kyrgyz-UAE cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as issues of cooperation between the two countries within international and regional organizations, representing mutual interest.

UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the readiness to make a return official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic in May 2017.

Following the meeting, the Ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports and a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of physical culture and sports between the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Directorate of youth and sport of the United Arab Emirates.
