Governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to continue to work constructively to address cross-border issues

Bishkek, Jan. 17 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhenish Razakov held a working meeting in Osh with the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Adham Ikramov, the Kyrgyz government’s press service reports.

The sides discussed the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.

During the meeting the sides agreed to continue a joint work on delimitation and demarcation of borders.

The meeting is held on the basis of the agreements reached between the Presidents of two countries during the visit of President Almazbek Atambayev to Uzbekistan in December 2017.

Negotiations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border were held in the period from 15 to 17 January in the city of Osh.
