Bishkek city council will be formed of 5 parties

Bishkek, December 12 / Kabar /. According to preliminary data, 5 parties will form the Bishkek сity сouncil. Among them the Social Democratic Party (SDPK) is leading, chairwoman of the Central Election Commission Nurjan Shaildabekova said today at a press conference in Bishkek.

According to her data, the distribution of votes in the Bishkek city сouncil is as follows:

SDPK - 26.07%; Respublika - Ata-Jurt - 25.65%; Onuguu-Progress - 16.23%; Mekenim Kyrgyzstan - 13.87%; Kyrgyzstan - 10.02%.

"These are preliminary data on the distribution of votes in the elections to local councils. In general, the choice of voters reflects the picture that was in the pre-election period. I think that all of the data are the result of the free vote of citizens. We can say that all the conditions have been created for the citizens to vote and hope that the available results faithfully reflect the choice of citizens," Shaildabekova said.

13 parties took part in the elections to the Bishkek city council. They are: The party of green of Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress, Active, The Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan, UluuKyrgyzstan, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan, People's Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan, Aalam, Respublika - Ata-Jurt, Jany-Door, SDPK, Taza Kyrgyzstan.
