Kyrgyzstan condemns the missile attack on Mecca

Bishkek, November 21 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz delegation consisting of director of the 4th Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zh.Kulubaev and Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) A.Zhumabaev took part on November 17 in the emergency meeting of member countries of the OIC’s Council of Foreign Ministers in the city of Mecca, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

An extraordinary meeting was initiated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Adel Al-Dzhubeyra due to launch on October 27 of this year the ballistic missiles in the direction of Mecca by Huthis rebels from the territory of Yemen.

Representatives of 56 OIC member states firmly condemned these barbaric acts of rebels who launched a ballistic missile to destroy the holy places of all Muslims in the world, the city of Mecca. The participants were unanimous that such actions of the rebels damage the Islamic Ummah, religious values and principles, as well as to international peace and security.

During the meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers also approved Ahmed Yusuf Al-Uthaymeen, the representative of Saudi Arabia, as the new Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary General.

Former Secretary General of the OIC Iyad Amin Madani, a representative of the CSA resigned for health reasons.
