Kyrgyzstan and Belarus Foreign Ministries hold consultations on international legal issues

Bishkek, November 21 / Kabar /. Consultations were held in Minsk on 17-18 November 2016 between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on international legal issues. The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Director of the International Law Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Erik Beyshembiev, Belarus - Chief of the contractual-legal department MFA of Belarus Andrei Metelitsa, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

As part of the consultations, the sides have worked to update the lists of current bilateral treaties and other international instruments between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Belarus, and also exchanged information on their practical implementation and progress of work on projects of new international legal instruments.

They also discussed other international legal issues, including those related to the cooperation within international organizations. After the consultations, the sides signed the final protocol, the report says.
