First Deputy Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Korea discuss cooperation prospects

Bishkek, November 14 / Kabar /. Within the framework participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the 10th anniversary Cooperation Forum "Republic of Korea - Central Asia" Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Dinara Kemelova held a bilateral meeting on November 14 with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lim Sung-nam, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

During the meeting the sides highlighted the intensification of the Kyrgyz-Korean relations after the official visit of the Kyrgyz President in 2013. As part of the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues - the current state and prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Korea in bilateral and multilateral formats. Kyrgyz side expressed gratitude for the financial assistance in carrying out democratic reforms and socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan.

The particular attention was paid to the establishment of direct flights between Seoul and Bishkek, which would contribute to the development of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations, as well as the tourist exchange.

They also discussed issues of multilateral cooperation through international organizations, including through the United Nations.
