 Kyrgyzstan and Sierra Leone establish diplomatic relations

Bishkek, November 2 / Kabar /. Diplomatic relations has been established between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Sierra Leone on November 1, 2016, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed in New York City by Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN Mirgul Moldoisaeva and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United Nations A. F. Suma.

The text of the Joint Communiqué states that the parties have established diplomatic relations, guided by the principles and purposes of the UN Charter and international law, in particular the respect and promotion of international peace and security, equality among the countries, with due respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity, independence, respect for international contracts and non-interference in the internal affairs of the states.

After the signing ceremony of the Joint Communiqué the sides expressed mutual intention to develop relations of friendship and cooperation between the states within the framework of the UN and other international organizations, as well as support the candidates of each other in international bodies under UN auspices.
