 Kyrgyz and Uzbek Foreign Ministers discuss current state of topical issues

Bishkek, October 19 / Kabar /. A bilateral meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov is held in Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

During the talks, the two foreign ministers discussed the current state of topical issues, as well as the further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In particular, the parties, noting the positive dynamics of development of bilateral relations in recent years, including the delimitation of the state border between the two countries, have recognized the need for a "roadmap" for further cooperation on the full range of issues including political, trade-economic, border, cultural and humanitarian and etc.

Following the meeting, they signed a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries for 2016-2017, which is an important document of cooperation between the two departments on a wide range of issues. The Kyrgyz side handed over the Uzbek side the official invitation to visit with a return visit in the near future the city of Osh in the framework of strengthening cross-border cooperation, which was accepted with gratitude.
