 Kyrgyz FM to deliver speech at UN General Assembly on September 24

Bishkek, September 21 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev will deliver speech at the UN General Assembly in New York on September 24, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The 71st session of the UN General Assembly has started its work in New York on September 13. Annual general political debate has begun on September 20 and will last until September 26, 2016.

The Kyrgyz delegation is headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Abdyldaev. His speech is scheduled for September 24.

Within the visit Minister Abdyldaev also will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, UNDP Administrator Helen Clark. The Kyrgyz minister also will take part in signing of the Paris Agreement on the climate and in the thematic high-level events of the General Assembly on current issues and bilateral meetings.

In the course of bilateral meetings it is expected to sign several agreements. He will also participate in the traditional meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO, the CCTS, OIC and others.
