Vice Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan discuss delimitation and demarcation of the state border

 Bishkek, September 17 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhenish Razakov met on Friday with Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim, who arrived in Bishkek among the delegation to take part in the jubilee session of the Council of CIS Heads of State, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reports.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, in particular, the development of trade and economic relations, as well as the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.

Vice Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, noted that the two countries have a common understanding and a desire to solve the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the state border for the benefit of further strengthening of bilateral relations.

In order to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation Zhenish Razakov proposed to hold the meeting of the Kyrgyz-Tajik intergovernmental commission for a comprehensive review of bilateral issues (Bishkek) and a meeting of the governmental delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border (Mr. Dushanbe).
