 Kyrgyzstan establishes diplomatic relations with the Republic of Mauritius

Bishkek, June 18 / Kabar /. The Permanent Mission of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN in New York on Thursday signed a joint communique on establishing diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Mauritius, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

Heads of permanent missions to Kyrgyzstan and Mauritius signed the document, which states that the parties, expressing their mutual willingness to develop and strengthen friendship and cooperation between the countries establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level. The document also states that in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963, the sides confirm their intentions to build a relationship in accordance with the UN Charter and principles of peaceful coexistence, equality mutual respect for territorial sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of each other.

The sides also expressed confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of world peace.

Mauritius – is an island nation in East Africa, located in the south-western Indian Ocean.
