N. Tyuleyev should be freed today, Prosecutor General says

Bishkek, November 15 / Kabar /. The detained member of the Kyrgyz Parliament Nariman Tyuleyev should be freed today, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

"The case has already submitted to the Pervomaysky Court of Bishkek", the press service says.

N. Tyuleyev’s lawyer says that he should be released at 00:00 on the night of November 15, but this was not done.

Nariman Tyuleyev, who served as Bishkek mayor under former President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, is charged with corruption, when he purchased unneeded and overpriced Chinese-made city buses back in 2008.

A criminal case was started against him on June 21 2012.
