MP Tashiev is imprisoned for two months

Bishkek, October 5 / Kabar /. The court imprisoned Parliament deputy from Ata-Jurt faction Kamchybek Tashiev for two months. Tashiev’s lawyer Ikramidin Aitkulov told journalists.

He told that, now they intend to appeal the decision of the Pervomaisky regional court to a higher court. "My client asked me to tell his supporters not to organize any kind of protests. He plans to solve everything legally", said I. Aitkulov.

Kamchybek Tashiev has been charged with public calls for the violent overthrow of the constitutional regime and the forcible retention of power.

In accordance to investigation, on October 3, 2012 MPs Sadyr Japarov, Kamchybek Tashiev, Talant Mamytov and others organized in Bishkek a demonstration to nationalize Kumtor gold mine. During the demonstration Kamchybek Tashiev publicly urged the gathered people to seize power violently. After that protesters attempted to invade the Parliament building. K. Tashiev was the first, who started climbing over the fence of the Parliament building, which is the guarded object. 

On October 4, 2012 deputies were detained on suspicion of committing a crime.
