Kyrgyz General Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case against MPs Tashiev, Mamytova and Japarov

Bishkek, October 4 / Kabar /. General Prosecutor’s Office of Kyrgyzstan initiated a criminal case regarding deputies of Jogorku Kenesh Kamchibek Tashiev, Talant Mamytov and Sadyr Japarov on offenses under Articles 297 (public incitement to violent overthrow of the constitutional order) and 28-295 (seizure of power) of the Criminal Code. The press center of the General Prosecutor ‘s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

Thus, on October 3, 2012 at about 11:00 a protest action was organized at the central square of Bishkek in support of nationalization of Kumtor gold mine by MPs Sadyr Japarov, Kamchybek Tashiev, Talant Mamytov and others.

During the demonstration at about 13:30, deputy of Jogorku Kenesh Kamchybek Tashiev publicly urged the gathered people to a violent seizure of power.
After that, on the basis of calls of the deputy, he himself and other protesters made attempts to a violent seizure of power by the invasion of the Parliament building which is a guarded object.

On this case General Prosecutor’s Office formed an interdepartmental investigation group.

On October 4, 2012 at 04:15 am, MPs K. Tashiev, T. Mamytov and S. Japarov were detained on suspicion of a crime.
