Kyrgyz citizen, suspected of committing a terrorist act in Istanbul, interrogated and allowed to go home

Bishkek, January 4 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz citizen Yahya Mashrapov, suspected of committing a terrorist act in Istanbul, interrogated and allowed to go home, head of the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan Rahat Sulaymanov told.

After the information about the involvement of Kyrgyz citizen in the terrorist act, the Security Committee officers have been working to establish the identity of the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic. "It turned out that the suspect in committing a terrorist act Kyrgyzstani Yahya Mashrapov lives in the town of Kara-Suu, Osh oblast. He was brought to the Kara-Suu district branch of the National Security Committee, where he was interrogated. He was released after questioning," said the official representative of the State Committee for National Security.

He also said that they will give other details after the verification activities.

Recall the terrorist act in Istanbul's night club took place on the night of January 1st. Unknown armed men opened fire on visitors. According to recent reports, 39 people died, 69 were hospitalized.
