K. Dushebaev: Attempts to split the majority coalition is taking place and now


 Bishkek, April 11 /Kabar/. “Serious attempts to split the coalition majority in the Jogorku Kenesh took place earlier and are going on now”, head of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic K. Dushebaev told journalists at the Kabar Agency.  

“Opposition parties tried several times to prevent constructive work of the coalition, serious intrigues to split it are going on”, he said.

Chairman of the National Security Committee said that there are suspicions against several members of the Jojorku Kenesh both from opposition and coalition parties in connection with certain persons who are abroad and are interested in destabilizing the situation in the republic.

“Recently, the media published interview with former president K. Bakiyev, where he said that there are his supporters in the Parliament and he has a respectable man, who he support and who will be nominated to the President in the upcoming elections”, said K. Dushebaev.

Head of State Security Committee said that if attempts to split the coalition in the Parliament are implemented, the situation will be complicated. “But now the Parliament, the Government and relevant authorities work now in order to keep stability in society.
