Kyrgyz Security Council Secretary denies reports of arson of head office Ata-Jurt party

 KABAR, October 7. Information about arson of head office of Ata-Jurt political party does not correspond to the facts, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov told speaking a briefing in the Jogorku Kenesh.

According to him, relatives of the killed d on April 7, who gathered at the parliament building demand to debar Kamchybek Tashiev from participation in election process, who said he intends to return to the republic former President Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

 “Representatives of the Central Election Commission and Presidential Administration came out and explained that everything should be solved within the law. But they were not satisfied with this and went to the office of Ata-Jurt. There the protesters met with the party member Sadyr Japarov, who said that the current government is guilty of the death of their relatives.

Further, some people broke into the office and thrown out of windows agitation materials and also set fire to a banner of the party”.

The Secretary of Security Council told investigation activities will be held.
