In 2015 police arrested 42 wanted members of organized crime groups

Bishkek, January 14 / Kabar /. In 2015 police officers of Kyrgyzstan detained 42 wanted members of organized criminal groups and 15 members of organized crime groups are still on the wanted list. Chief of the Central Department for Fighting Organized Crime (GUBOP) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, colonel of militia Mirlan Kanimetov told today at a press conference.

He added that employees of GUBOP and its territorial divisions solved 479 ordinary crimes, detained 90 criminals, including murder and attempted murder - 11 cases; kidnapping, human trafficking - 13; grabbing - 35; extortion - 52; robbery - 17; fraud - 96; bribery - 10; illegal possession of firearms and ammunition - 50; theft - 25; drug offenses - 30; smuggling - 3, rape - 9, other crimes - 90.
