Bishkek, August 2 / Kabar /. The number of patients with tuberculosis mortality decreased in Kyrgyzstan for the first six months of 2016 up to 6 people per 100 thousand. Last year the figure was 27 people per 100 thousand, Health Minister Talantbek Batyraliev said today at a press conference at Kabar Agency.

The minister said that urgent measures have been taken to stabilize the spread of tuberculosis infection among the population in the framework of the program "TB-IV».

"As a result of these programs, morbidity and mortality from tuberculosis began to gradually decline,” he said.
