 Turkey grants 5 ambulances to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, November 17 / Kabar /. The ceremony of donation of 5 ambulances, equipped with modern medical equipment, is held at the Turkish Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the KR, these ambulances and equipment is granted by the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA) under the Prime Minister’s Office of Turkey.

The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Turkey to the Kyrgyz Republic Metin Kilic, Minister of Health Talantbek Batyraliev, head of TIKA projects for Central Asia and Caucasus Ali Ozturk Ozgyun, TIKA Program Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan Seyit Ali Avzhu and others.

"The health sector plays very important role in the state. And we will continue to cooperate further in this area. Within the framework of bilateral agreements, we plan to lay the foundations for a new modern high-tech medical clinic in near future," said the Ambassador of Turkey to the Kyrgyz Republic Metin Kilic.

"Today, with the assistance of the Turkish Republic, thanks to friendly bilateral relations and support of the leadership of our countries, Kyrgyzstan implements a number of necessary projects in health care. It should be noted that the Turkish friends have rendering aid for a long time in equipping our health organizations with new and modern equipment. Today’s ambulances will significantly help in providing emergency aid to victims and the sick, as well as significantly improve the transportation of heavy patients in the regions of the country," said Batyraliev.
