Kyrgyzstan launchs the first Kyrgyz-Turkish project "Health Week in the KR"

Bishkek, July 27 /Kabar/. The launching of the first Kyrgyz-Turkish project "Health Week in Kyrgyzstan” with the participation of Minister of Health of the KR Taalaibek Batiraliev and Director General for researches of the Health Ministry of Turkey Mehmet Rifat Kose took place in the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the KR, 23 Turkish highly skilled medical specialist came to Bishkek to implement the project, who together with the Kyrgyz surgeons will perform complex operations (in the field of pediatric surgery, cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and gynecology), which are not possible due to technical and other reasons. Besides, it is expected to hold master classes in the field of surgery.

Medical care will be free, all the necessary medical equipment, medicines and supplies will be provided by the Turkish side.

In the future it is planned to continue bilateral cooperation, the Turkish party invites specialists from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey for exchange of experience.

Also it is planned to conduct operations not only in Bishkek, but also in the regions and oblasts of Kyrgyzstan.

The project will take place from 27 July to 1 August 2015
