Islamabad hosts the 3rd meeting of Kyrgyz-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission
Bishkek, Jan. 11 / Kabar /. The 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation has started in Islamabad (Pakistan) on January 11 under the chairmanship of Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Arzybek Kozhoshev, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Co-chairman of the Pakistani part of the Commission is the Federal Minister for Water and Power of Pakistan Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
The issues of development of bilateral trade, the establishment of cooperation in the field of textile industry, the creation of a joint venture for the production of textile and leather products, creation of the joint working group on industry, development of cooperation in energy, banking and finance, the postal sector, as well as regional cooperation have been discussing at the meeting.
The sides agreed to establish cooperation in the sphere of public health, tourism and culture, education, science and technology, agriculture and food safety, information and broadcasting.
Also, participants of the meeting consider the issues of signing the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of export promotion and investments.
