Antimonopoly agencies of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan sign memorandum of cooperation

 MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – Belarus' Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) and the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation under the Government of Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the competition policy. The relevant information has been posted on MART's official website, BelTA has learned.

The main areas of cooperation will include the exchange of information on changes in the law of the two states in part of competition development, law enforcement practices in competition promotion, and also the information on the status and development level of commodity markets. The parties are also set to share experience in law enforcement in the cases of the violation of antimonopoly laws or the absence of violations, and competition principles and rules.

Apart from that, the antimonopoly agencies of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan agreed to provide information and assistance in the development of regulatory legal acts to boost competition.
